Cinda is a knowledgeable and highly skilled practitioner of acupuncture. Cinda has treated me for insomnia, sciatica, neck pain, knee pain, digestive problems, and has treated me through my pregnancy. She asks the right questions about my symptoms and is really able to get at the root of the problem. I have felt relief after each treatment, which cannot always be said for westernized medicine. I am not a huge fan of needles and I don’t think I would trust anyone else to treat me. I would highly recommend Cinda for acupuncture as well as chinese medicine prescriptions.

Cinda has a wonderful way of explaining through chinese medicine why you might be experiencing certain issues and how solutions can be found both with acupuncture and changes in your daily routine. She treated me for sleep issues and helped tremendously, I will definitely go back. I also consulted her about an on-going cough my daughter had and her knowledge and helpful suggestions made me aware of options outside of western medications. She is easy to talk to and has a lovely patient, relaxing manner.

I highly recommend Cinda! I started seeing her for chronic back pain and stress. Every time I leave her office I feel more relaxed and pain free. She has even helped alleviate the tension headaches I’ve been having.
As a bonus, her office is in a great neighborhood location, easy to get to from work (either off the 280 or 101), and she’s flexible with scheduling appointments (including weekends).

I started going to Cinda for insomnia and stress-related issues about 2 months ago. While I’m still managing my sleep patterns, I have definitely noticed a positive shift in my body and mindset. Her insightful questions, genuine concern, and willingness to explain her process and that of Chinese medicine have made each visit a a learning experience and a joy. As other reviewers have echoed, I feel better every time I leave her office.
I intend to continue seeing Cinda for acupuncture routinely now and absolutely recommend her!

I am 65 years old, and have had fibromyalgia since my early 20s. Now with increased problems due to age, I’ve felt desperate with major increased pain. The Sea Dragon has given me a new life and outlook. The loving care and knowledge Cinda has brought me a new lease on life. It truly amazes me how she knows what is going on inside your body and is able to reduce and relieve the pain.”

I was 2 weeks away from surgery on my elbow when I met Cinda. The muscles of my left hand had suddenly atrophied because of a strain to an old nerve injury. Six months of tests, therapy and a hand brace had done nothing. First Cinda gave me HOPE then RESULTS. Immediately after my initial acupuncture sessions I stopped wearing my brace and gained strength in my hand. I canceled the surgery. My hand continues to grow stronger every day and I expect to regain full strength. I am so thankful I meet Cinda. I never realized you need hand/finger strength to tie your shoe. Besides my wonderful results Cinda is a caring professional who is delightful to be around. I trust her completely.

I highly recommend Cinda as an acupuncturist. She really knows her stuff and is a very gentle, competent needler (and I don’t love needles). She also knows Chinese herbs, and has a warm, engaging presence and seems to really want to get to the bottom of health issues. She’s helped me with sleep and pain issues, but the real benefit might be the preventative care she provides to keep me from getting sick or hurt in the first place! And the Potrero neighborhood where her office is located is totally worth a visit – one of the coolest parts of the City.

I started working with Cinda when she was in acupuncture school (in the Clinic). I found Cinda to be bright, well informed and knowledgeable. She helped me with my headaches, fibromyalgia and low back pain resulting from a herniated disc. I am amazed at the power of acupucture. I will continue to use acupuncture as an alternative even before Western medicine as I will continue to see Cinda as my personal acupuncturist.
